ORGANIZERS AND ALLIES
THE BEHAVIOURALCKACK 2021: INTIMATE-PARTNER VIOLENCE
Intimate partner violence remains a rampant public health and human rights problem globally. The World Health Organization estimates that 1 in 3 women will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime. The BehaviouralHack 2021 focuses on intimate partner violence in Lithuania, where domestic violence ranks as the #2 most committed crime in the country.
We have collected for the first time in Lithuania a nationally representative sample on the prevalence, perceptions, and norms around economic and psychological intimate partner violence in the country. This first of its kind data set will be accessible exclusively to participants during our #BehaviouralHack 2021 event.
HOW CAN YOU BEHAVIOURALHACK?
During the BehaviouralHack 2021, our team of experts will coach participants on how to create positive behavioural change that can help end intimate partner violence in Lithuania. To do this we use cutting edge insights from our research and impact work at the Behavioural Lab LT and our partner institutions. Participants will be given the opportunity to form teams with members across the globe to design their own solutions to intimate partner violence using the insights they learn from our expert coaches and will have access to our database of information on intimate partner violence in Lithuania.
