Why social entrepreneurship?

We believe that one of the most effective ways (but not the only one) to create systemic social and environmental impact is to create sustainable business models around them. Social entrepreneurs around the world are creating scalable and sustainable for-profit and non-profit initiatives to solve some of the most pressing challenges that contemporary societies are facing (see inspiring examples here). Applying entrepreneurship and business management techniques is also great way to identify the problems people have and to build solutions people will engage with.
