Why collective action and cultural agency?
We believe that real and sustainable changes happen through collective movements, rather than mandates from above. Getting together with others to work on a common objective is one of the most powerful ways to achieve behavioural and social changes. That’s why we’re called the 3.5 Network, after all.
On the other hand, we also believe in the power of art and creative practices to transform society. As the work of cultural agents like Mayor Antanas Mockus’ in Colombia or Augusto Boal in Brazil (among many examples), mobilizing cultural and artistic practices is a powerful tool to create meaningful reflections and engagement around collective problems and solutions.
