First challenge/ideas forum: how can we reduce the negative psychological and social impacts of the coronavirus crisis?
A few of the members of the 3.5 Network have been working on how to reduce the negative impact of the coronavirus crisis around the world. Research shows that this can include depression, anxiety, panic buying, domestic violence and even suicide. On the other hand, there are also positive impacts, including the increases in collective action, solidarity and family time.
Some of us will be applying a questionnaire for this in several countries around the world in the next few months. But in the meantime, we should explore ideas/stories/experiences that could provide solutions.
Based on your knowledge and experience during this crisis, what could work to reduce negative effects and increase positive ones?
